So how long have I been waiting for this game? Let's see...I remember hearing about it being announced 2 or 3 years ago. I've been eagerly awaiting the announcement for the U.S. release date for a year at least. I remember about six months ago when it was finally announced to be released in July and I thought there was no way I could possibly wait that long. And then it was delayed. -.-

I pre ordered it like a month and half ago and i've been counting down the days since...
Being in Hong Kong was so painful when I would be at a game store and see Dissidia just sitting there staring at me Dx
But finally...........ITS HERE!!

I picked it up at midnight last night which was awesome. It was also being released with the new Batman Arhkam Asylum game which I really want to play but WHAT THE HELL. I was seriously the only person there for Dissidia. There was a massive crowd at gamestop and everyones like YEAH BATMAN TIME!!! I love Batman but come on...when I handed the counter guy my pre order receit thingy he grabbed a copy of batman but then he wait like "...wait. ...Dissidia...? Oh yeah..that other game!" THAT OTHER GAME??! pfft.

but anyway, Dissidia is glorious. I really didn't expect all the tactical aspects it has. When you're fighting in the storyline you progress a lot like FF Tactics. Overall, I really like all the voice actors!! Except Clouds just such a depressed douche. seriously. cheer the hell up. When he wins a battle he says shit like "I WON'T SLEEP WELL TONIGHT.." or "CAN'T SMILE ABOUT THIS ONE..." it really gets old. Cloud and Squall seem to be competing for the most brooding and lonely character in this game. and Zidane's voice is just awful. everything he's saying is completely accurate to Zidane's mannarisms but I just can't stand the voice...! BY THE WAY, did anyone else know it was pronounced Zidawn?? WTF! whatever.

I think my fav thing about this game is the fact that it's shedding so much light on the older games that people have replaced with VII and X (no offense) I'm so excited that Terra and Kefka are in it!!!! This game is so amazingly faithful to the original games. I was Zidane playing against this random manikin thing and in the middle of the match ULTROS came out and inked the screen!!! If you know who Ultros is then pat yourself on the back. Seriously. You deserve to be rewarded.

ANYWAAAAAAAAY if you don't own this game that GO BUY IT NOW!!! RIGHT NOW!!!! even if you don't have a psp you can still stare at the glory of it. I really wanna write more awesome stuff but I think I'm gonna go play more now. BYE BYE!
